RUSHMORE — A 20-year-old Wilmont male died Saturday as the result of a crash south of Rushmore.
According to a Nobles County Sheriff's Office press release issued Monday, the NCSO was dispatched at approximately 11:29 a.m. Saturday to a one-vehicle crash at 310th Street and Hesselroth Avenue.
The responding deputies encountered a red 2007 Chevrolet pickup that had crashed and was resting on its roof. One male, Landon Ray Rogers, 20, sustained critical injuries from the crash that resulted in his death.
The NCSO noted that the incident is still under investigation. The Minnesota State Patrol provided assistance.
