55+ refresher course offered Tuesday

WORTHINGTON -- The Minnesota Highway Safety Center will offer the four-hour refresher 55+ Driver Improvement Course from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Center for Active Living, 211 11th St., Worthington.

WORTHINGTON -- The Minnesota Highway Safety Center will offer the four-hour refresher 55+ Driver Improvement Course from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Center for Active Living, 211 11th St., Worthington.

 

People age 55 and older who complete the course qualify for a 10 percent discount on auto insurance premiums for three years, according to Minnesota law.  First-time participants must complete the initial eight hours of training and a four hour refresher class every three years to maintain the discount.
