RESOLUTION NO. 3379
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to Resolution No. 3378 of the Council passed on March 9, 2009, a report has been prepared by the city engineer with reference to the improvement of the following described street by extension of the municipal wastewater collection system:
GRAND AVENUE from 200 feet north of Oxford Street to Cecilee Street extended westerly;
and this report was received by the Council on March 9, 2009; and

WHEREAS, The report provides information regarding whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible, whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated total cost of the improvement as recommended
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WORTHINGTON, MINNESOTA:
1. City Council will consider the improvement of said street by extension of the municipal wastewater collection system, in accordance with the report, and the assessment of the abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, at an estimated total cost of said improvement of $141,400.
2. The City Council will also consider, in accordance with the report and MS 429.051, the assessment of additional benefit, estimated as $40,344.42 to said property from other trunk wastewater collection system improvements.
3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 23rd day of March, 2009, in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m.; and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
