JACKSON -  A transport bus carrying 15 to 20 passengers and a farm tractor were involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday night in rural Jackson County.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at 7:13 p.m. Monday on Jackson County 34, near the intersection of 410th Avenue, according to a press release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Four ambulances (two from Lakefield and two from Jackson) transported several passengers who were on the bus to the Jackson and Worthington hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The Lakefield Fire Department, Lakefield Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol assisted at the scene, the sheriff’s office said. More information will be released at a later time.
