WORTHINGTON — No one was injured Saturday morning when a mini van propelled through Mini Market Lupita.

A car vs. building was reported at 11:31 a.m. Saturday morning at Mini Market Lupita, 1906 Oxford St.

According to the Worthington Police Department, the male driver reported mistaking the gas pedal for the brake. Because the crash was on private property, no citation was issued, the department reported.

In addition to the structure damage, the Saturday morning crash also caused damage to the market's shelving and merchandise, owner Maria Parga said.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the market side of the store remained closed. Parga wasn't sure when it would reopen.
