WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department, Worthington Fire Department, Worthington Ambulance and Minnesota State Patrol all responded to an accident at 11 a.m. Thursday on Minnesota 60 on the east edge of Worthington.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol report, Caleb J. Fenske, 31, of Madelia, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck owned by the Minnesota Department of Transportation and was parked on the shoulder of the road. Kristyn K. Hokeness, 21, of Worthington, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix.
She apparently suffered a medical condition that caused her to veer off the roadway and rear-end the pickup truck.
Both Fenske and Hokeness were transported to Sanford Medical Center Worthington, where they were treated and released.
The Grand Prix was a total loss, and the pickup sustained moderate damage.
