WORTHINGTON - The Minnesota 4-H Foundation and University of Minnesota Extension have announced the 2017 Andrea Ruesch Regional 4-H Scholarship recipients. Established in 2010 by the Family of Andrea Ruesch, in memory of her dedication and contributions to the Minnesota 4-H program, the scholarship is for teens with demonstrated learning through hands-on experience and youth leadership.
The $1,000 scholarship recipients include Daniel Bartels and Nina Buchanan, Chippewa County 4-H; Ramsey Piotter, Cottonwood County 4-H; Madelyn Vancura, Jackson County 4-H; Kyla Fuerstenberg, Nobles County 4-H; Emily Blom and Eric Pietz, Pipestone County 4-H; Moriah Flanagan and Mira Uithoven, Rock County 4-H; and Liana Blomgren and Walker Regier, Watonwan County 4-H.
High school seniors and first-year college students currently enrolled in 4-H in Chippewa, Cottonwood, Jackson, Martin, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Rock or Watonwan counties are eligible to apply.
