MARSHALL -- The SW MN Arts Council will offer a workshop to detail and answer questions specifically for the individual artist grant program (for both developing and established career artists), which has an application deadline of Feb. 8, 2017.
The free workshop will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 5 at SW MN Arts Council, Marshall.
Individual artist grants provide funding for a variety of activities designed to aid in public awareness of the artist's work or projects that will aid in the progression to, and/or exploration of, a new level in their artistic development and professional career. Grants for up to $2,000 (for developing artists) or $5,000 (for established career artists) are awarded. No cash match is required.
