Ashley JoAnn Hanson and Benjamin Allen Bandow announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Rick and Cindi Hanson, Ringsted, Iowa, Pamela Bandow, Bigelow, and the late Russell Bandow.
Hanson is a 2005 graduate of Simpson College and 2008 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a master's degree in counseling and student personnel. She is employed as the assistant director for student engagement at Dana College, Blair, Neb.
Bandow is a 2008 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a degree in automotive engineering technology. He is currently employed as a project engineering technologist at Pedersen Power Products, Omaha, Neb.
They plan a May 23 wedding at United Lutheran Church, Ringsted.
