Parents of the couple are Arlyn and Jan Pedley, Ocheyedan, Iowa, and Ed and Dianne Barrie, Worthington.
Pedley is a graduate of Sibley-Ocheyedan High School, Sibley, and Windemere Institute of Healing Arts, Decorah, Iowa. She is currently employed by New Dawn Inc., Worthington.
Barrie is a graduate of Worthington High School. He is currently employed by Lynch Livestock Inc., Worthington.
They plan a Sept. 6, wedding for immediate family with a reception at a later date.
