BeMobile to host family mobile tech event Thursday

WORTHINGTON - BeMobile will host its first-ever Very Important Parent (VIP) Party from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at its store at 1471 Humiston Ave., Worthington.
The party is intended to be a fun event while also teaching parents and youths alike how mobile technology devices can help keep children safe.
All VIP parties will demonstrate wearable mobile technology that parents can use to keep connected to their children and keep them safe when out of the house. Special guests expected at the event include the Worthington Fire Department, Worthington Police Department, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota Highway Patrol and the Worthington EMS. Other activities will include snacks and games.
