Bigelow man accused of Round Lake burglary

ROUND LAKE — A complaint was filed this week in Nobles County District Court against a Bigelow man accused of burglarizing a Round Lake home in July.

According to the criminal complaint, Kodi Zelinko, 28, broke into a Round Lake residence and did damage to televisions. Zelinko allegedly took a third television that was still in its box in the victim's garage. The victim estimated the value of the damaged televisions to be $1,200.

The victim told law enforcement that Zelinko had sent him a text apology and indicated that he'd work off the damage.

A neighbor of the victim who allegedly witnessed Zelinko take the television provided a statement to law enforcement.

Zelinko faces second-degree burglary and first-degree damage to property, both felonies; and misdemeanor theft.

Zelinko was released on a $0 bail and ordered to make all future court appearances.
