On behalf of the Minnesota Partnership for Biotechnology and Medical Genomics, we would like to thank you for the warm welcome we received as participants in the Biosciences Linking Conference on Feb. 23 and 24. Our special thanks to our hosts from the Worthington Regional Economic Development Corporation and the Worthington Chamber for their hospitality, support and efficient organization. We think it was a great conference, and one that set an excellent example for other communities in the state.
We're very impressed by the widespread interest and involvement in biosciences in the Worthington area. The turnout for the event was impressive, and the questions and comments were insightful. We departed Worthington even more certain that there is strong support for biosciences in Minnesota, and the strong opportunity exists to leverage the strengths of our current foundation in the field. We look forward to working with all of you to harness this great economic potential for Minnesota. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
