Blood drive set for Oct. 18 at Marthaler Ford

WORTHINGTON — An American Red Cross blood drive will take place from noon to 4:30 p.m. at Marthaler Ford, 611 Oxford St. All presenting donors will receive a limited edition NASCAR American Red Cross/3M model car.

An American Red Cross blood drive also took place Sept. 25 at the Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council in Worthington. The Red Cross reported that there a total of 30 donors; seven first-time donors; 32 units collected; and 96 potential lives saved.
