JACKSON - The Cottonwood County and Jackson County sheriff's offices were called to a vacant farm place Sunday in section 16 of Springfield Township, Cottonwood County, after a deer hunter found the body of a deceased individual.
Jackson County authorities believe it to be the body of Kelly William Fest, 49, of Heron Lake, who was reported missing in June 2010.
The body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office in St. Paul. Identification of the body is pending until an autopsy has been completed.
No foul play is suspected.
