Boy falls off chairlift at Duluth ski hill

DULUTH -- A boy was injured after falling about 20 feet from a chairlift at Spirit Mountain Recreation Area in Duluth Friday afternoon, authorities said.

DULUTH - A boy was injured after falling about 20 feet from a chairlift at Spirit Mountain Recreation Area in Duluth Friday afternoon, authorities said.
The accident happened at about 1:15 p.m. near the top of the hill, according to reports from the Duluth police and fire departments.
Ski patrol staff brought the boy to the main lodge, where they met firefighters and Gold Cross Ambulance.
Officials on Friday night did not have information on the age of the boy or his condition.
