WORTHINGTON -- The American Red Cross will offer the following upcoming blood donation opportunities in southwest Minnesota: 2 to 7 p.m. July 14, American Legion, Round Lake; 2 to 7 p.m. July 15, American Legion, Lismore; 1 to 7 p.m., Adrian High School, Adrian; 1 to 7 p.m. July 17 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 18, American Reformed Church, 1720 N. Burlington Ave., Worthington.
Donors must be in general good health, weigh 110 pounds or more and be at least 16 years old. Recent legislation allows 16-year-olds to donate blood, provided they have a signed Red Cross parental/guardian consent form dated no sooner than July 1. Consent forms can be obtained by contacting the American Red Cross or a volunteer blood drive coordinator.
