ST. PAUL -- Dave Schwartz of Slayton was elected to serve on the Midwest Dairy Association corporate board during the association's 2008 annual meeting recently in St. Paul.
The meeting included an election of officers to both the Midwest Dairy Association and the Minnesota Dairy Promotion Council.
Midwest Dairy Association represents more than 11,000 dairy farmers in nine states including North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri and eastern Oklahoma.
