JACKSON -- The Dash for Dogs, a youth fun run and hot dog night, will begin with registration at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the parking lot on the north end of Main Street in Jackson.
The half mile and one mile races feature the river views of downtown Jackson. Participants will receive ribbons and post-race refreshments, and medals will be awarded to the top finishers.
The half mile race is for kids up to age 12, and begins at 5 p.m.
The one mile race begins at 5:15 p.m., and students up to age 18 may participate.
