MANKATO -- A "Farm Transition & Estate Planning: Build Your Exit Strategy" workshop will be presented from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 18 at the Country Inn & Suites, Mankato.
Attendees will get a greater understanding of transfer strategies, tax issues related to the transfer process, discuss methods for treatment of heirs in the transfer process, as well as how to go about developing a written transfer plan.
The workshop includes a discussion of wills and trusts, life insurance, power-of-attorney, longterm health care issues, and more. This information will help to complete the transfer plan.
