WORTHINGTON -- YMCA Healthy Kids Day will be celebrated from 9 am. to noon Saturday at the Worthington Area YMCA, 211 11th St.
The event is free to parents and kids in preschool through sixth grade. Activities will include: kids' water aerobics, a fitness obstacle course, baseball with the Minnesota West Baseball Team, McGruff the Crime Dog, basketball with Minnesota State University, Moorhead, star Dana Weibel and the Dance Dance Revolution game.
Give-aways will include two $50 savings bonds, a chance to be bat boy for a day at the Minnesota West baseball game, Minnesota Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves memorabilia, Subway samples, Gatorade and water and YMCA Healthy Family Home Starter Kits.
