FULDA -- The "What's It To Me" series workshop that was to be presented earlier this week has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the Fulda Community Center.
The workshop will provide specific details for constructing a lakeshore stabilization and/or restoration.
Gregg Thompson, keynote speaker, will explain the nuts and bolts of restoring and stabilizing the lakeshore. Thompson is an Urban Conservation Specialist with the Association of Metropolitan Soil and Water Conservation Districts. He is involved in native plant community restoration, native re-vegetation, and stormwater treatment practices utilizing native vegetation and bio-stabilization on shorelands and streambanks. His background is in landscape architecture.
