BREWSTER -- The Laotian Community of Worthington will celebrate the Year of the Rat at its New Year's event.
The public is welcome and invited to attend the festivities, which begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Brewster Legion Post 494.
There will be a Sou-Khouane Ceremony at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner at 7 p.m., and live music and dancing beginning at at 8:30 p.m.
