WORTHINGTON -- All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving Day holiday.
The Worthington City Hall, the Nobles County administration building, Prairie Justice Center, the Nobles County Library and the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce will also be closed Friday. The library will have regular hours Saturday.
All local financial institutions will be closed Thursday and open for normal business hours Friday. Hy-Vee Food Store will close at 2 p.m. Thursday and resume normal hours at 6 a.m. Friday. Fareway Food Store will be closed Thursday and resume normal hours at 7 a.m. Friday.
Schaap Sanitation will not collect garbage or recyclables on Thursday. Thursday residential service will take place Friday.
The Daily Globe will not publish Thursday, and the business office will be closed. Publication and normal business hours will resume on Friday.
