VALLEY SPRINGS, S.D. (AP) -- A Minnesota truck driver was killed in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection near Valley Springs.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department said 49-year-old Harlan Schulte of rural Pipestone, was dead at the scene.
His grain truck collided Wednesday morning with a pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old male from rural Brandon.
The sheriff's department said the teen told investigators he did not see a stop sign because of dense fog and failed to stop at the intersection.
