REDWOOD FALLS -- Ever wonder what type of tree is best for your yard or would do well in your landscape?

A tree and shrub identification class will be from 6 to 9 p.m. May 6 at the Redwood Area High School. Pre-registration is required. Woodland Advisor and Master Gardener credits are available.

Participants will learn about the variables that affect tree health and growth and which species will grow and contribute positive characteristics to your community. Plant identification is also necessary when describing plant symptoms to an expert. Resource materials, common and uncommon trees and shrubs will be identified and reviewed.
