WINDOM -- The public is invited to the Cottonwood County Historical Society 109th annual meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at 812 Fourth Ave., Windom.
The event begins with a short business meeting, followed by speaker Renee Wendinger's presentation, "Extra! Extra! The Orphan Trains and Newsboys of New York."
Wendinger will be available for book signing before and after the annual meeting. All members and individuals interested in history are invited to attend. Entertainment will be provided by Sean Benz. Light afternoon lunch will be served. The Remick Gallery will be open, featuring the Aaron Horkey exhibit "Midwestern Heart."
