ADRIAN -- The Adrian Town & Country Association is hosting its annual Adrian Christmas in July fundraiser and promotional event today and Saturday.
Maine Street behind City Hall is the place to be for all of the activities on Friday. First on the schedule is Ribs & Rims, with serving of food from 5:30 p.m. until gone; and proceeds will benefit the Adrian Fire Department and Ambulance Service. From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., there will be kids’ face painting, and for adults there will be free beer and wine tasting at The Den.
To wrap up the first day, a hamburger stand will open at 8:30 p.m. with County Line Drive Band performing until 12:30 a.m.

Saturday kicks off with an all-day sand volleyball tournament at the campground. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. there will be kids’ inflatables and a craft fair at the elementary school, and the Zoo Man Express will have a display outside from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The annual parade will be at 7 p.m. and it will be followed by duck races at the fire hall. The celebration will conclude with a beanbag tournament at 8 p.m. and DJ SieffStyle Entertainment from 9 p.m. to midnight.
