BALTIMORE, Md. -- DiDi Christopherson of Worthington joined Farm Bureau members from across the state at the American Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Conference Feb. 15-19 in Baltimore, Md.
DiDi farms with her parents, Dean and Carol. They milk cows and raise corn, soybeans and alfalfa.
"Attending the conference was a great opportunity to meet young farmers and ranchers from across the nation. I was able to network, learn about individual operations and activities young farmers participate in their home state," said Christopherson. "The conference would be an opportunity I would recommend to any young farmer or rancher."
During the national leadership conference, attendees participated in a Harvest for All project and toured Boordy Vineyard/Winery, thoroughbred breeding farm and training facility Bonita Farms, Waffle Hill Farms and Camden Yards.
Participants heard from guest speakers and discussed animal agriculture issues, agricultural literacy and more.
