City band performs last summer concert Wednesday

WORTHINGTON - The final concert of the “Amazing” Worthington City Band’s 2017 season takes place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Chautauqua Park. Director Mike Peterson will lead the group in selections including “Selections from Mary Poppins,” “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” the “Military Escort March” and “Sweet Caroline,” among others. Emcee for the evening is Matt Widboom; Teresa Widboom will provide the intermission entertainment. 

A portion of the city band members will visit Crailsheim, Germany, from July 18-28, thus necessitating the shorter 2017 concert series.
