Community Thanksgiving Dinner is Nov. 23

WORTHINGTON -- Worthington's 2017 Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be hosted on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23) at First Lutheran Church, 1200 Fourth Ave. All area residents are invited to attend. Serving is from noon to 1:15 p.m.

WORTHINGTON - Worthington’s 2017 Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be hosted on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 23) at First Lutheran Church, 1200 Fourth Ave. All area residents are invited to attend. Serving is from noon to 1:15 p.m.

 

Turkey dinners will be delivered to persons unable to leave their homes. Contact Terry Morrison at 227-1539 no later than Nov. 22 and leave a voice message to request a delivery. Messages should include name, address and number of meals requested.

 

The event is not possible without volunteers. Assistance with food preparation and table set-up is needed. Volunteers should arrive at the church by 8 a..m. on the 23rd to begin work (enter through the parking lot door).

Money donations may be delivered or mailed to Morrison at 710 Ninth Ave., Worthington 56187. Checks should be made payable to Community Thanksgiving Fund.
