BRDTF seeks permanent commander
FULDA — The Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force is seeking a new permanent commander.
At a recent meeting between law enforcement agencies within Nobles, Murray and Pipestone counties, the task force announced that it will accept letters of intent from interested law enforcement personnel belonging to an agency within the Joint Powers Agreement. The closing period for officers interested in the commander position to submit a letter outlining their interest and goals for the task force is sometime in February.
Chris Lewis of the Murray County Sheriff’s Office has served as interim commander since his mid-August appointment after then-commander Nate Grimmius of the Worthington Police Department stepped down.
