WORTHINGTON — Larry Davis of Worthington pleaded not guilty Tuesday morning to the January charge filed against him that accuses him of soliciting prostitution in a public place.

Davis and his defense attorney asked for a one-day jury trial, which will be scheduled in accordance with the Minnesota State Court Operations guidelines regarding COVID-19.

Because Davis's case is not considered "high priority," Fifth Judicial District Judge Gordon Moore explained, it will likely be some time before a jury trial occurs. Moore guessed that it could be as late as summer or fall before Davis appears in front of a jury.
