Crashes

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: 5:55 p.m. Sunday, 5100 block of 190th Street. A 2008 Dodge Avenger operated by Samantha Antje Ernst, 26, of Sibley, Iowa struck a cow that was in the roadway. The Avenger sustained approximately $1,500 in damage. No injuries were reported.

NCSO: 6:34 p.m. Sunday, Minnesota 60 at mile marker 10, Worthington.

Minnesota State Patrol: 2:56 p.m. Tuesday, Interstate 90 eastbound and five miles east of Adrian. A 2010 Chevrolet Impala operated by Hussein A. Adam, 36, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota struck the rear of a 2020 Freightliner semi operated by Paul Morris Olson, 58, of Brooklyn Park in snowy/icy conditions. Adam was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The Adrian Ambulance and Rushmore First Responders assisted.

NCSO: two-vehicle crash, 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, Interstate 90 eastbound near mile marker 23. Adrian Rescue and Ambulance dispatched.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, Lyon County A-34. A 2007 Ford Econoline E250 cargo van operated by Austin Zebulon of George, Iowa was eastbound when it reached a top of a hill and began skidding on the snow- and ice-covered roadway. The van entered the north ditch, where it rolled one time and came to rest on its wheels. Zebulon was transported to Avera Hospital in Rock Rapids, Iowa for treatment of minor injuries, The van was a total loss. The George Fire Department, George Emergency Medical Services and the Lyon County Ambulance assisted.

WPD: 5:14 p.m. Tuesday: 1300 block of Humiston Avenue.

NCSO: vehicle off roadway, 6:42 p.m. Tuesday, Nobles County 5 near Sportsman’s Park.
