Crashes

Minnesota State Patrol: 4:02 p.m. Wednesday, U.S. 71, south of Belmont Lane, Jackson. A pedestrian, Thomas Reynolds, 38, of Hastings, was walking eastbound across U.S. 71 when he was struck by a southbound pickup driven by Roy Sutherland, 50, of Champlin. Reynolds was transported via the Jackson Ambulance to the hospital with believed non-life-threatening injuries. Sutherland was not injured. The incident remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
