ADRIAN — A search warrant was executed on an Adrian home Tuesday, resulting in the arrest of three occupants of the residence.
Ainoi Manila, 43, lives in one of the bedrooms of the home. While searching his living space, police reportedly discovered 62 grams of a white crystalline substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.
Another bedroom houses Adam Sipe, 41, and Edith Sipe, 47. Inside their room, officers found 82 grams of liquid methamphetamine, residue from crystal meth, plastic baggies and a scale. Inside a purse that contained Edith Sipe's driver's license were reportedly two baggies of crystal meth, weighing 3.3 and 4.4 grams.
The rest of the home was allegedly littered with other drug paraphernalia. All three individuals were arrested.
Manila was charged with first-degree drug sale and first-degree drug possession, both felonies that each carry a maximum possible sentence of 30 years in prison and/or a $1 million fine. The Sipes were each charged with first-degree drug sale and third-degree controlled substance crime. If convicted, each individual will be sentenced based on criminal history.
They are all being held in Nobles County Jail. Manila's bail was set at $40,000 with conditions or $80,000 without. Adam and Edith Sipe each had their bail set at $20,000 with conditions or $40,000 without.
