LAKEFIELD — Three more suspects have had criminal charges filed against them relating to a July 14 arson at a Lakefield farmstead.

The home at the site was burned to the ground, leaving nothing but rubble. Ashtin Johnson, 21, of Adrian, was charged with arson for the incident. Three others were discovered to be present at the scene of the crime: Micah Aden, 20, of Humboldt, Iowa; Isaiah Rehnelt, 20, of Lakefield; and Terrell Teasley, 22, of Worthington.

Each was charged with aiding and advising second-degree arson and aiding and advising third-degree burglary, both felonies. The more serious offense, aiding and advising arson, carries a maximum possible sentence of 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine. If convicted, they will be sentenced based on criminal history.

Each of the three men is set to appear in court Wednesday on these charges. Because they were summoned rather than arrested, none of them has a mugshot.
