WORTHINGTON — Two individuals were sentenced this week in criminal cases previously reported by The Globe.
Raul Vincente Zetino Marroquin, 22, of Adrian, was sentenced to 364 days in jail, with 359 days stayed for three years during which he will be required to report to probation for a conviction of third degree assault resulting in substantial bodily injury. Marroquin was also ordered to pay $1,085 in fines and fees.
Bernardo Rolando Alvarez Jr., 20, Worthington, received a stay of adjudication on a charge of second degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under the age of 16, while a second charge was dismissed. Alvarez was placed on probation for seven years, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
