WORTHINGTON — A warrant has been issued for a Worthington resident accused of first and third degree criminal sexual conduct, as well as felony domestic assault, in connection with incidents that happened Sept. 6 in Fulda.
Kirk Keith Oxendine Jr., 26, faces charges in Murray County Fifth District Court.
According to the criminal complaint, a victim reported to law enforcement that she had been assaulted in the early morning hours of Sept. 6 by Oxendine. The victim stated the two had been drinking and Oxendine requested to have anal sex. The victim said no, but Oxendine reportedly held the victim down and performed the act despite the victim’s repeated requests to stop.
The victim reported having bruises on an arm and thigh.
A law enforcement review of Oxendine’s criminal history showed he was convicted of domestic assault by strangulation in Hennepin County in December 2018, and was convicted of first-degree burglary and fifth-degree assault in Nobles County in September 2020. Due to a past incident of failing to appear in court, a warrant was issued for Oxendine.
If convicted, he faces a maximum 30 years imprisonment and/or a $40,000 fine on the first degree criminal sexual conduct (injury by force/coercion) charge; 15 years imprisonment and/or a $30,000 fine on the third degree criminal sexual conduct (force/coercion) charge; and five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine on the felony domestic assault charge.
