WORTHINGTON - The Culture Corner, a partnership between Minnesota West Community and Technical College and the Nobles County Integration Collaborative, will present “Where is Home?” from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Culture Corner Room 501 on the Worthington campus.
“Where is Home?” is a dramatic presentation of excerpts from letters written by a German immigrant to America in the late 1800s. The letters relate his story of struggles and successes, and his experience has similarities and contrasts to immigrant experiences today. Jim Krapf portrays the character of Juernjakob Swehn, with two other actors taking several roles.
A certificate of attendance will be provided for two clock hours. This event is open to the public. For more information, contact le Lucht (372-3426) or Jaidy Kolander (376-3300).
