WORTHINGTON -- Volunteers with the American Cancer Society will be selling daffodils today and Friday in Worthington.
The bright yellow flowers of springtime will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days at Hy-Vee, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Sterling Drug downtown, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Schafer's Health Center downtown.
To the American Cancer Society, the daffodil represents the hope we all share that cancer will one day be eliminated.
Donations given through Daffodil Days provide valuable programs and services to cancer patients in your community, and help fund research, advocacy efforts and education on cancer prevention and early detection.
