SIBLEY, Iowa - The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Matthew Alan Nemmers, 33, of Everly, Iowa on Saturday for operating while intoxicated second offense. He was transported and booked into Osceola County Jail and held on a $2,000 bond. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop at the intersection of Osceola County L44 and 100th Street.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated property damage to a vehicle reported at 9:09 a.m. Saturday from Sherwood Street.
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa - The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested a juvenile female Saturday for speeding (106 mph in a 55-mph zone), failure to slow down/move over for certain vehicles, violation of a restricted license, possession of drug paraphernalia and eluding. The arrest was made after a Lyon County encountered a speeding vehicle at 3:41 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of U.S. 75. The juvenile was later transported to Estherville, Iowa and released to Forest Ridge Youth Services. A passenger in the vehicle,, Grant Zevenbergen, 18, of Rock Valley, Iowa, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

SIBLEY, Iowa - The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested Donald Matthew Hoonhorst, 39, of Rock Rapids, Iowa on Sunday for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance-marijuana first offense. He was transported and booked into Osceola County Jail and held on a $1,300 bond. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop at the intersection of Iowa 9 and Osceola County L40.
