WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run accident at 6:07 p.m. Thursday at Swift & Company.
CHANDLER -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle collision at 5:08 p.m. Thursday on Minnesota 91. Murray County Deputy Chris Lewis had parked a squad car with emergency lights and flashers on to assist a person in the ditch. Meagan Hagerman, 25, of Wilmont, tried to slow her 2006 Pontiac and go around the squad car, but got caught in thick slush and was pulled into the left side of the other vehicle. She was treated and released at the scene.
WORTHINGTON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a single-vehicle accident at 7:27 p.m. Thursday at milepost 46 of Interstate 90. Myra Higgins, 67, of Creston, was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus westbound on the icy road when her vehicle blew a front tire, causing her to run off the road and hit a sign. She received no apparent injury.
