WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Ambulance was dispatched at 8:27 p.m. Tuesday to the 1700 block of Skyline Drive.

ROUND LAKE - The Worthington Ambulance and Round Lake Rescue were dispatched at 11:03 p.m. Tuesday for an adult female having difficulty breathing.

Crashes

LAKEFIELD - The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a rollover crash reported at 5:06 a.m. Wednesday from Minnesota 86, just north of Interstate 90. A 2006 Chevrolet Malibu operated by Zachary Scott Holm, 21, of Jackson, was traveling northbound on I-90 when a tire blew when attempting to pass another vehicle, ultimately causing the vehicle to enter the ditch and roll. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated a crash reported at 7:18 a.m. Wednesday from the intersection of Oxford Street and Humiston Avenue.

JEFFERS - The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle crash reported at 12:29 p.m. Wednesday from Minnesota 30 near milepost 76. A GMC Acadia missed a turn and attempted to make a U Turn and drive eastbound, and collided with a Peterbilt semi. The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Mountain Lake Ambulance and Jeffers Fire Department assisted at the scene.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department received a report of a school bus arm violation at 4:13 p.m. Tuesday from the intersection of Humiston Avenue and Clary Street.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department received a report of harassing communication at 5:31 p.m. Tuesday from the 2000 block of Castlewood Drive.

RUSHMORE - The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of suspicious people at 8:31 p.m. Tuesday.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated a vehicle theft reported at 6:11 a.m. Wednesday from the 400 block of Ninth Avenue.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department investigated property damage reported at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday from the 1400 block of Burlington Avenue.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department received a report of fraud at 3:51 p.m. Wednesday from the 1400 block of Joosten Road.

Ryan McGaughey arrived in Worthington in April 2001 as sports editor of The Daily Globe, and first joined Forum Communications Co. upon his hiring as a sports reporter at The Dickinson (North Dakota) Press in November 1998. McGaughey became news editor in Worthington in November 2002 and editor in August 2006.
