Accidents
JACKSON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a one-vehicle motorcycle accident at 10:36 a.m. Saturday in the eastbound lane of Interstate 90 in Jackson County. Miguel Garcia, 44, of Zion, Ill., was driving a 2001 Harley Davidson when he failed to make a curve in the road, entered the median and flipped. Garcia was transported to the Jackson Medical Center and was later transferred to a Rochester facility for treatment of a broken arm. The motorcycle sustained severe damage.
JACKSON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a two-vehicle motorcycle accident at 12:48 p.m. Sunday I the eastbound lane of Interstate 90 in Jackson County. Manuel Poza, 44, of Soria, Spain, was driving a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle when the vehicle hit a fox and then was rear-ended by another 2006 Harley Davidson driven by Carlos Sanz Aldea, 45, of Vallaolid, Spain. The first vehicle sustained moderate damage, and the second vehicle sustained severe damage. Poza sustained no apparent injuries, and Sanz Aldea sustained bruises and abrasions.
