WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a hit-and-run crash reported at 4:35 p.m. Thursday from the 100 block of 11th Avenue.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a theft from a car reported at 4:22 p.m. Thursday from the 1000 block of Grand Avenue.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department received a report an adult male shoplifter at 10:04 a.m. Friday from the 1700 block of North Humiston Avenue.

ROUND LAKE -- The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office received a report of threats at 12:12 p.m. Friday from the 100 block of First Avenue.

BREWSTER -- The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office received a report of self-harm threat at 12:22 p.m. Friday.

McGaughey became news editor in Worthington in November 2002 and editor in August 2006.
