MInnesota State Patrol: 3:35 p.m. Saturday, U.S. 59 at 51st Street, Murray County. A Chrysler 200 operated by Edward M. Henning, 71, of Marshall was northbound on U.S. 59 when it struck a 2013 Ford F150 operated by Berund L. Cuperus, 57, Iowa while it was traveling eastbound. A passenger in the Chrysler, Twila L. Henning, 68, of Marshall, was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury. The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Fulda Ambulance and Fulda Fire Department assisted.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Silverster Nason, 60, of George, Iowa was arrested at 8:23 p.m. Friday at the Minnehaha County Jail and transported to the Lyon County Jail on four charges of second-degree sexual abuse. He was held in the Lyon County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
WPD: shoplifting, 10:01 p.m. Friday, 1000 block of Ryan’s Road.
Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Kip Schultz of Sioux Falls, SD. was arrested Friday following a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Iowa 9 and charged with operating while intoxicated first offense. He was transported to the Lyon County Jail, where he was later released on bond.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Kasi Tinant, 36, of Sioux Falls, S.D. was cited into court Saturday for providing false identification information. The action after she was stopped for a registration violation at 1:47 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Iowa 9 in Rock Rapids.

Lyon County Sheriff’s Office: Bradley Ostbye, 51, of Canton, S.D. was cited into court Saturday for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Olivia Ostbye, 27, of Sioux Falls, S.D. was cited into court for interference with official acts. The action came after a call was received at 6:45 p.m. Saturday about illegal drugs being consumed at a campsite.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office: Angela M. Froderman, 35, of New Richland was arrested Sunday for alleged possession of a controlled substance-first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Daniel C. Palmer, 44, of Westbrook was also arrested for alleged possession of controlled substance-methamphetamine first offense and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Froderman was held on a $1,300 bond; Palmer was held on a $1,600 bond. The arrest came following a traffic stop on the 2600 block of Iowa 60.
