Accidents
OKABENA -- The Jackson County Sheriff's Office investigated a one-vehicle accident at 3 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of County Road 9 and County Road 20 in Okabena. A 1989 Buick LaSabre driven by Bobby Louis Scherff, 28, of Wilder, was southbound on County Road 9 when control was lost at County Road 20. The vehicle went into the northwest ditch, hitting a pine tree. Scherff and a passenger, Kyle Ervin Stafford, 35, were taken to Worthington Medical Center by private vehicle. The accident remains under investigation.
JACKSON -- The Jackson County Sheriff's Office investigated a one-vehicle accident at 11:45 a.m. Sunday on 490th Avenue in Delafield Township. A 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Harry Jenness, 56, of North Mankato, was southbound on 490th Avenue when it went into a skid, left the road and rolled into the ditch. Jenness was transported to Windom Hospital.
WORTHINGTON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a one-vehicle rollover accident at 6:29 a.m. Monday on Interstate 90 eastbound at mile marker 37 in Nobles County. A 2004 Chevy pick-up received extensive damage. The driver, Charles Lenands, 37, of Watertown, S.D., was not injured. He was wearing a seat belt.
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated an accident at 7:32 a.m. Tuesday at Fifth Avenue.

WORTHINGTON -- The Minnesota State Patrol investigated an accident involving injury at 7:56 a.m. Tuesday on Minnesota 60 near the rest area south of Worthington involving an automobile and semi-truck. The Worthington Ambulance and Worthington Rescue Squad were paged.

ADRIAN -- The Adrian Rescue and Ambulance was paged at 7:47 p.m. Monday to 301 North Maine Ave. to assist a female who was experiencing a heart attack.
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday to Sunshine Apartments at 1620 Clary St. to assist a male who had passed out.
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 12:38 p.m. Tuesday to The Meadows of Worthington at 1801 College Way to assist a female experiencing a stroke.
