ADRIAN - The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office responded to a semi versus sport utility vehicle crash with injuries at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday. Adrian Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.
WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department responded to a crash at 9:54 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Ryan’s Road.
LUVERNE - The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 90, near mile post 11. Involved was a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Jocelyn Martinez, 20, of Worthington, and a 2015 International semi driven by David Myers, 45, of Belleville, Wis. Martinez was eastbound on I-90, in the right lane of travel when she moved to the left lane to pass the semi. She lost control of the vehicle on icy roads and rear-ended the back right side of the trailer. Neither Martinez nor her passenger, Genesis Martinez, 19, of Worthington, were injured, while passenger Natalie Martinez, 49, of Worthington, sustained non-life threatening injuries. Myers and a passenger in the semi tractor, Dustin Shaw, 31, of Black Earth, Wis., were not injured. Assisting at the scene were the Rock County Ambulance and Luverne Fire Department.
BREWSTER - The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a hit-and-run at 7:22 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of 10th Street and First Avenue.

WORTHINGTON - The Nobles County Coroner was paged at 2:20 p.m. Thursday to the 800 block of 10th Street.

WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department received a report of theft at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
READING - The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 27000 block of 170th Street.
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa - The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested an individual for operating while intoxicated, first offense, on Wednesday on a farm yard approximately one mile northwest of Rock Rapids.
WORTHINGTON - The Worthington Police Department received a report of a scam at 8:55 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Crailsheim Drive.

Birth
Matt and Tina Schlichte, Rushmore, are the parents of a girl, Elle Elizabeth, born March 14, at Sanford Luverne Hospital. Grandparents are Mary and Wendell Wagner, Worthington, and Dick and Denise Schlichte, Worthington. Great-grandparents are Andrew Wagner, Adrian, Lyle and Arlene Schlichte, Worthington, and Diane Yahnke, Worthington.
