Accidents
LEOTA -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office received a report of a two-vehicle crash at 7:55 a.m. Thursday, east of Leota. Both vehicles left the scene.
JACKSON -- The Jackson County Sheriff's Office investigated a one-vehicle rollover at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday, on 710th Street. Lynette Sue Marki, 36, of Lake Park, Iowa, was driving a 1999 Oldsmobile Bravada when she lost control on a snow-packed and icy roadway, slid into the north ditch and rolled on its roof. Marki suffered minor injuries. A passenger, Saul Torres-LaPorte, 26, of Worthington, reported no injuries. The vehicle sustained severe damage.
Ambulance
LISMORE -- The Adrian Ambulance and Lismore Rescue were paged to 310 South First Avenue at 7:21 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a juvenile who ingested some type of cleaner. The report indicated two salesmen in the house had the cleaner and were causing problems.

WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Ambulance was paged at 9:06 a.m. Thursday to 323 Dover Street for a female who was bleeding from her nose. The patient was transported.
ELLSWORTH -- The Ellsworth Rescue and Adrian Ambulance were paged at 11:03 a.m. Thursday to 401 Oak Street for a female who was weak and having difficulty breathing.
Police
LARCHWOOD, Iowa -- The Lyon County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday at an ice shack near the Klondike Bridge in rural Lyon County. Two men were inside the shack fishing when they heard shots. One round came through the shack and struck the right hip of a Canton, S.D., man. When the second man exited the shack, he saw four young, white males get into two vehicles, described as a smaller green car (possibly a two-door) and a Red SUV (Jeep), both with South Dakota license plates. Both vehicles fled the scene. The injured fisherman was transported to McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D.
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department investigated a report at 5:49 p.m. Wednesday of a house that was egged in the 1500 block of Second Avenue. No damage was reported to the house.
WORTHINGTON -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office cited a 19-year-old male for driving without a valid license at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday, in the 22400 block of Paul Avenue.
WORTHINGTON -- The Nobles County Sheriff's Office arrested a 38-year-old male for third degree DWI at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 59/Minnesota 60, near South Lake Street. He was booked and lodged.
WORTHINGTON -- The Worthington Police Department responded to a request for assistance in lifting an individual at 6:02 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of Fourth Avenue.
